How many times have we talked ourselves out of something because we didn’t feel qualified, prepared, or ready?

This week, a story from my son reminded me that sometimes we don’t do the first thing because we don’t know how to do the fifth thing. We’ll look at Moses, the excuses we tell ourselves, and the difference between “You’ve got this” and God saying, “I will be with you.”

Before you decide you’re not the person for it, ask yourself one question: Who told you that?

Ever have so much going on that you wake up and don’t even know where to start?

That’s life for me right now. Work, family, starting something new, long days, short nights, and a whole lot of things that need to get done.

This week on Anchored & Sent, we’re talking about what life looks like when you’re just… all over the place and, of course, where I saw God in the middle of it.

Where did you see God today?

This week I’m sharing a few God sightings friends sent me, and I love how different every answer was. One saw God through helping someone, another through watching lives change, and one honestly said she looked for God all day and just couldn’t see Him.

That last one really got me thinking.
