Episode 199: Re-release, Episode 110 of the American Grown Podcast in the Colortech Creative Solutions studios with Dr. Shavkat Ruziev owner of Lancaster Wellness.

•

In this episode, I re-released episode 110 featuring Dr. Shavkat Ruziev. Shavkat shares his incredible journey from growing up in Uzbekistan to pursuing his education at Louisiana State University and eventually finding his way to Good Samaritan Hospital.

His perspective on healthcare began to change dramatically while working on the COVID floor in 2020. During that experience, Dr. Ruziev realized that simply putting a “band-aid” on a problem wasn't enough — to truly help people, you have to address the root cause.

That realization inspired him to take a different approach to healthcare and ultimately start his own wellness center, with a mission focused on helping people become healthier by addressing the underlying issues affecting their well-being.

Episode 198: Re-release, Episode 109 of the American Grown Podcast in the Colortech Creative Solutions studios with Paul Bomba Author of the novel No Lifeguard on Duty.

•

In this episode, I re-released episode 109 featuring Paul Bomba. Paul shares the story of getting out of his “golf cart” of retirement and embarking on an unexpected third career path...becoming an author.

Growing up in Asbury Park, Paul experienced the 1970 race riots firsthand, an experience that stayed with him throughout his life. He describes it as feeling like he had sand in his shoes ever since that day, a reminder of an experience he could never quite shake.

After years of working in the corporate world, Paul finally mustered up the courage to shake the sand out and put his story, experiences, and imagination onto the page. That leap led him to write his very first novel and discover a new chapter of purpose and creativity.

We talk about life after retirement, finding the courage to start something new, and the people who help us get through life's toughest moments.

Episode 197: Re-release, Episode 108 of the American Grown Podcast in the Colortech Creative Solutions studios with Jess Zimmerman, Lead Singer of the Jess Zimmerman Band.

•

In this episode, I re-released episode 108 featuring Jess Zimmerman. Jess is back with some exciting news! Back in January, Jess teased the possibility of recording a Christmas CD — and nearly a year later, the dream has officially become a reality.

The Jess Zimmerman Band has released its first-ever Christmas album, A Very Merry Christmas with The Jess Zimmerman Band!

Jess takes us behind the scenes of what it really takes to create a Christmas album, from bringing the music together to preparing for the band's second annual Christmas show at Mickey's Black Box in Lititz.

We also dive into the creative side of being a musician and the importance of mental health. Jess opens up about what it's like to constantly create, perform, and put yourself out there — and why having an open mic can mean more than just having a place to perform.
