  • 049. The Power of One!
    Aug 17 2025

Our study today is about how one person can make a real difference in this life. In this poem I’ll share my thoughts on just how significant one person can be. Its a bit of a meditation on something we often overlook, and that is the power of one. One second. One seed. One drop. One step. Just one—yet each one holds great meaning when we see it through God’s eyes. In our spiritual walk, one prayer, one decision, one “yes” to Jesus can alter eternity. It’s not about doing everything. It’s about doing something eternal with all your heart—for God. Be sure to share this episode with your social media contacts and follow me, Albert M. • 048. Our Hunger for the Truth!
    Aug 13 2025

Our study today encourages us to be hungry for the truth. What is truth, anyway, and how do we find it? We live in a world full of opinions, half-truths, and outright lies. Social media, news, culture—even some churches—can distort what’s right and wrong. So how do we know what’s really true? And how do we stay hungry for it? Pilate asked Jesus, during the trial of Jesus, “What is truth?” It’s a powerful question—and it still echoes today. The answer? Truth isn’t just an idea or principle—truth is a person. Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Be sure to share this episode with your social media contacts and follow me, Albert M. • 047. Hope Through Our Suffering
    Aug 10 2025

Today we will be talking about the reality that we’re not living in the Garden of Eden. We suffer. We see others suffer. We wonder why those things happen and we look for answers. This message is rooted in a powerful truth from Romans 5, verses three through five, which reminds us that “Suffering produces endurance. Endurance produces character. And character produces hope.” We may not understand the “why,” but we can always trust the “Who.” Be sure to share this episode with your social media contacts and follow me, Albert M. • 046. Tolerance v. Compromise: Standing Firm in Christ
    Aug 8 2025

This message is about Tolerance vs. Compromise – Standing Firm in Christ. This is an important topic for getting along in an age that some are calling a post-Christian era, that is: tolerance versus compromise—especially as it relates to living out our Christian values in a world that often pushes us to “just go along to get along.” A world that calls us callous or bigoted. Tolerance, when rooted in love and truth, is good. It means treating others with respect, even when we disagree with them. Jesus showed tolerance when He dined with sinners, spoke with the Samaritan woman, and extended grace to the woman caught in adultery. But He never compromised truth to be accepted. He never compromised his message. That’s the difference. Compromise, when it means softening or surrendering biblical truth to avoid conflict or gain favor, is dangerous. That’s not love—that’s spiritual surrender.

  • 045. Why Do We Fail When We Know the Truth?
    Aug 5 2025

Today we will be talking about knowing the truth, and failing to follow the truth. This is another of my poems. Thank you for your patience as we work through these deep and inner thoughts from my past and my present. Today’s message is raw, honest, and needed. It asks a question many of us avoid: *Why do we keep failing, even when we know the truth?* We’ve heard the Gospel. We know Jesus is the answer. So why do we live our lives chasing empty things, breaking God’s heart in the process? The poem reminds us—God gave us His Son. He set the standard. Yet we often choose our own path, driven by greed, fear, distraction, or worldly desire. We fear failure. We fear surrender. But the kind of fear that controls us isn’t faith—it’s bondage. It’s a form of slavery to things that control us. Listen now, and I hope it helps you on your daily walk with the Lord.

  • 044. The Battlefield of the Mind
    Jul 31 2025

There’s a war going on and your mind is where its happening, so let’s take a look at what’s really going on. Every day, there’s a war going on right between your ears. The Bible teaches us that the mind is the primary battleground for the bad things of temptation and sin. Before sin shows up in our actions, it starts in our thoughts. Whatever comes out of our mouth, starts in our mind. Whenever we stray, it starts with a thought. James 1:14–15 (ESV) puts it like this: “But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.” That whole process begins in the mind. A thought becomes a desire, a desire becomes an action, and an action becomes a habit. That’s why we can’t afford to let our thoughts run wild. Daydreaming about bad things can and will corrupt our mind; and, if we don’t win the battle in the mind, we’ll lose it in the body, in the heart, and in the soul.

  • 043. What is Biblical Competence?
    Jul 29 2025

Today we will be talking about something every believer should aim for—biblical competence. Biblical competence is the ability to rightly understand, apply, and live out God’s Word in every area of life—at work, at home, in our relationships, and in our spiritual walk. It’s not just about head knowledge; it’s about heart transformation and everyday direction. Daily Bible study is like physical training. You don’t get physically strong by going to the gym once a month. The same goes for our souls. When we open the Word daily, we grow in wisdom, in discernment, in peace—and in confidence when the storms of life hit. Be sure to share this message with your social media friends.
