A proposito di questo titolo

Hi there! I'm Patrice Davis, mom of three, CEO of Grants Works Consulting and Ready Set Go Consult, travel enthusiast, and culture lover. I'm happily living a redesigned life and want to encourage you to redesign yours to live life on your own terms. The Age Has No Limit podcast was created to inspire people who are in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and older to pursue the redesigned life of their dreams. Whether you're learning a new skill, refining a buried and ignored talent, living a life of solace and calm after giving yourself to a demanding career, traveling the world, starting a business, reintroducing yourself to yourself, or finally unboxing yourself from the confines of what others expect of you, each episode of the podcast will inspire or serve as an example of the life you can live. Our guests will share their own path to a redesigned life and solo episodes will lay out ways you can do the same. • How to Begin Unboxing Yourself
    Aug 17 2023
Do you feel like you’re wasting time? Do you feel stuck in a job or stuck in some other area of your life? Is there a feeling tugging at you that you should pivot? Research shows that where we have the deepest regrets is also where we have the great opportunities It’s those opportunities, taken and planned, that I’ll encourage you to revisit. I’ll also encourage you to think about the box you may be in and how to begin the unboxing process. Whether you were led into the box by societal expectations or a box you happily jumped into, many of us (me included) were and are in boxes. I’ll also explore the primary regrets people have as they age such as staying in a job too long, waiting to save or not saving enough, getting married for the wrong reason or even being married to the wrong person, missed opportunities, and not enough time with loved ones. Finally, I’ll share some steps to begin the unboxing process. Some of the suggestions are ones I’ve undertaken myself.

  • Do You Remember Your First Time?
    Aug 25 2023
What do some stroke victims, elite athletes, and business titans have in common? They use visualization to either activate neuroplasticity as in the case of some stroke victims and elite athletes such as LeBron James and Michael Phelps and business titans such as Richard Branson of the Virgin Group, Sara Blakely, founder of Spanx, and Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX all use visualization techniques to envision a desired future outcome. What about you? Do you remember the first time you intentionally developed a vision for your life? Have you ever? I don’t like to admit this but the first time I was intentional about creating a vision for my life was in 2020. Prior to that I had visions of what I’d hoped would happen. Intentional visualization allows you to *create* the outcome you want. During this episode, we’ll explore visualization and how it can help you on the path to redesign your life.

  • How to Redesign Your Life In Your 40s, 50s, 60s, and Older
    Sep 1 2023
I think millennials and Gen Z get it about placing an emphasis on the life part of the so-called work-life balance. Many of them believe life is short. Those of us in our late 40s, 50s, and older see things differently because that’s not how we were raised. We went headfirst into the work part of the so-called work-life balance. We conformed to it, were sauteed in it, and didn’t question it. But some of us do get it. Some of us have the resources and/or the skills to make some changes and we have—and by us I mean those of us in our late 40s, 50s, 60s, and older. Some of us are intentionally redesigning our lives. In this episode, we’re going to talk about folks who are intentional about redesigning their lives and I hope to inspire some of you to do the same. We’ll start by revisiting the Mexican fisherman story, place a spotlight on Good Housekeeping’s article—The Transformation Diaries, and I'll end by providing actionable steps you can take to redesign your life.
