Dr. Shruti is an eye surgeon and has received training from some of the best medical institutions in the country. With a mission to help people see better, she runs several awareness campaigns on eye care and mental health across various social media platforms. In her free time she enjoys writing poetry, riding motor bikes and petting cats.

In this interview, Dr. Shruti shares about her journey starting into the field of Ophthalmology, the difference between Ophthalmology and Optometry, and gives us insights into what our eyes can tell an Ophthalmologist about us. She also gives us a deeper understanding of how important family support is for medical students and young doctors, while giving basic tips of how young doctors can grow through a tough academic life.
