During one of this year's many Accelerate breakout sessions, Dr. Thomas Dawson Jr., senior pastor of SOAR Church in Woodbine, New Jersey; BRN Network Development and Compassion Ministries Director Buff McNickle; and Dan Nold, lead pastor of Calvary Church in State College, Pa., challenged attenders with the mindset of being on mission 24/7, not just on Sunday mornings.

This first episode features not one, but two, breakout sessions from the 2023 Accelerate Conference! The first half of the podcast will discuss Temptation #1 from author Jeff Christopherson's "Once you See" novel; while the second half will tackle Temptation #2.

Temptation #1 (Breakout Session 1): Discipleship enthusiasts Dr. Bill Wilks, the founder of D-Life; BRN Associate Director of Church Health and Discipleship David Ludwig; and Tim Walker, lead pastor at Restored Church in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., will thoughtfully debunk the first temptation - "We are a Bible-believing church" - by encouraging a "Bible-obeying" mindset and sharing personal experience of impactful discipleship. Temptation #2 (Breakout Session 2): In one of the many break out sessions this year, Ruth Hueber, outreach director for Fellowship CrossPoint; and BRN Associate Church Health Consultant Steve Sheldon explored how the gospel is every disciple’s calling - not just a chosen few - and discuss practical ways to equip the disciples in your church.
