The first series of the popular "Absolute" DC Universe has concluded, and so now is the perfect time to talk about it! "Absolute Martian Manhunter" is a reimagining of the green gumshoe from top to bottom. This shapeshifting, mind reading, super powered superhero is reimagined as a cerebral entity inside the mind of trouble FBI agent John Jones. But all of that doesn't matter when the art (by Javier Rodriguez) is some of the craziest I've ever seen, not just with comics.

For the first half of the show it is a bookclub discussion of our Long Comic, and in the second half of the show we are going to give the Martian Manhunter his well overdue time in the limelight by writing a 15 beat plot summary in 15 minutes of a movie that doesn't exist yet. Impossible? You'll have to listen to find out!

Of course we end the show by introducing the manga that will be the next long comic we will talk about in two weeks time!
