When Jesus first came to this earth, a man named Simeon was "waiting for the consolation of Israel." It is unfortunate that so many people today are still waiting for the consolation to come, when in fact He is here. In this episode, we learn that believers can actually abound in consolation far more than they ever abound in suffering. This Christmas season, we can celebrate that the consolation has come!

Today's culture often emphasizes gratification more than gratitude. And while some may find it difficult to express gratitude amid difficult circumstances, believers can truly give thanks always for all things unto God. When believers are truly wrapped up in their relationship with Christ, recognizing all they have, and getting to know Him better each day, they will "abound therein with thanksgiving.”

In this message, we learn about the importance of giving ourselves FIRST to the Lord. More than finances or anything else, God wants US and provides abounding grace for us to give more than we ever thought we could.

Many people today, even believers, do not “abound” in hope. In fact, their countenance, words, and very lifestyle often exhibit hopelessness. According to the Word of God, there is a direct correlation between joy, peace, and hope. And God offers abounding hope, even when we feel hopeless. In today's episode, we will consider three questions that help us evaluate feelings of hopelessness and determine how to abound in hope.

Christians who are not abounding in Christ; growing, loving, and serving more than ever are not availing themselves to the glorious, amazing, abounding grace that was greater than all their sin. The Bible is clear, grace not only abounds to forgive our sin, but to give us strength in weakness and even provision in want.
