The Church is the body of Christ, and within the body each believer is placed uniquely and intentionally by God for the mutual benefit of the whole. When one part of the body suffers, so does the rest of the body. When one part of the body is honored, each part rejoices alongside. But what great reason we have to rejoice as we are part of Christ’s body, our Savior who has triumphed for his Church! Christ brings unity and diversity to his body, proving to us that we are “better together” because we have the privilege to support each other knowing that the head of the body – Christ – will never abandon us because he has won us for himself.
