Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6), is an extremely potent and persistent greenhouse gas that is primarily utilised as an electrical insulator and arc suppressant.
In this episode, we explore the problems SF6 leaks have on the environment and the regulations asset owners must put in place to minimise leaks. To talk us through this topic we are joined by guests Adam Wood, Technical Service Engineer at Belzona and Philip Bryan from Beltech, Belzona’s Authorised Distributor in Ireland, who shares his experiences repairing leak sealing for SF6.
