🚨 WWE RAW FROM THE 619! ROMAN REIGNS SAVES THE DAY… BUT IS 946 JUST A SHIELD RIP-OFF?! 🚨

🎙️ THE 8301 PODCAST IS BACK!

Marcus Brown & Chris Long are breaking down the October 19, 2026 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw from San Diego, California — THE 619!

And tonight, we have TWO VERY DIFFERENT OPINIONS about the show! 😂

🔥 CHRIS THOUGHT RAW WAS GREAT!

😐 MARCUS THOUGHT IT WAS PRETTY PEDESTRIAN!

Same show. Two different perspectives. That's what makes The 8301 Podcast what it is!

We both agree that WWE delivered some excellent moments tonight, but did those moments make the entire episode great, or was it another average Raw with a few standout segments?

🔥 TONIGHT ON THE 8301 PODCAST:

☝️ ROMAN REIGNS & SAMI ZAYN STEAL THE OPENING!

We absolutely LOVED the opening promo between Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Sami Zayn!

Two world champions. Two massive egos. One complicated history!

Sami is no longer the Honorary Uce following orders, and Roman isn't about to let Sami forget who used to run the table.

With Crown Jewel approaching, this champion-versus-champion rivalry is getting PERSONAL!

But who actually needs this victory more?

🚨 ROMAN REIGNS FINALLY SAVES THE BLOODLINE!

THE TRIBAL CHIEF SHOWED UP WHEN HIS FAMILY NEEDED HIM!

After weeks of questioning whether Roman actually cares about The Bloodline, he finally came to the rescue when 946 overwhelmed The Usos and Solo Sikoa!

We loved seeing Roman come out and save the day!

BUT HERE'S THE BIG QUESTION…

WHAT IS THE BLOODLINE GOING TO DO NEXT WEEK WHEN ROMAN ISN'T THERE?! 😂

Does Roman's presence make everybody else look weak?

And how long can the family depend on him to solve their problems?

🛡️ IS 946 JUST A SHIELD RIP-OFF?!

Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, Carmelo Hayes and Jaida Parker continue terrorizing The Bloodline.

But we're starting to notice some similarities!

The intimidating group presentation, coordinated attacks and constant numbers advantage…

Is WWE trying to recreate the magic of The Shield?

Or is 946 developing an identity of its own?

And now that Carmelo Hayes is involved, is this faction finally reaching another level?

💍 ALSO — A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO CARMELO HAYES ON HIS WEDDING! Much love from The 8301 Podcast!

🔥 THE 619 DELIVERS AN INCREDIBLE TRIPLE THREAT!

Rey Mysterio, Chad Gable and Dragon Lee absolutely TORE THE HOUSE DOWN in their Intercontinental Championship match!

This was the kind of wrestling that reminds us why we love WWE!

And with Ethan Page getting involved in the aftermath, the Intercontinental Championship picture just keeps getting more interesting!

Was this the MATCH OF THE NIGHT?

🪜 PENTA CONTINUES HIS MONEY IN THE BANK MOMENTUM!

Mr. Money in the Bank picks up a major victory over Bron Breakker with some help from Je'Von Evans!

Penta is making his presence felt around BOTH world champions.

But when will WWE finally pull the trigger on that briefcase?

👀 PLUS, WE DISCUSS:

🔥 Bron Breakker and Je'Von Evans continuing their heated rivalry

👑 Liv Morgan, Chelsea Green and the women's championship picture

😈 Bayley and Lyra Valkyria's increasingly personal feud

😂 Joe Hendry vs. JD McDonagh — is the comedy working?

🏆 Chad Gable's Intercontinental Championship reign

🔥 Where WWE's biggest storylines are heading before Crown Jewel

🎯 THE BIGGER CONVERSATION: IS WWE FINALLY FINDING ITS GROOVE?

Chris sees a product that's getting better, delivering entertaining segments and building meaningful stories.

Marcus sees some genuinely great moments surrounded by a show that still feels pretty pedestrian.

So who's right?

Is WWE finally giving fans something to get excited about, or are we giving the company too much credit for simply moving its storylines forward?

We break down the GOOD, the BAD and everything in between!

🚨 WWE SMACKDOWN WAS PEDESTRIAN… BUT A FEW SUPERSTARS STILL STOOD OUT! 🚨

🎙️ THE 8301 PODCAST IS BACK!

Marcus Brown & Chris Long are breaking down the October 16, 2026 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, and we've got one major question:

😴 WHEN IS SMACKDOWN GOING TO GET EXCITING AGAIN?!

Tonight wasn't necessarily a terrible show, but it was PEDESTRIAN!

Storylines moved forward, matches happened, and WWE continued building toward Crown Jewel. But where was the excitement? Where were the moments that made us feel like we absolutely HAD to tune in?

Sometimes moving stories forward just isn't enough. You still have to ENTERTAIN us!

🔥 TONIGHT ON THE 8301 PODCAST:

🏆 REY FENIX IS MR. MATCH OF THE NIGHT!

Once again, Rey Fenix delivers when the rest of the show struggles to keep our attention!

His match against Ricky Saints reminded us why he's becoming one of the most enjoyable wrestlers to watch on WWE television.

Fenix doesn't need to be forced down anyone's throat. He's getting over ORGANICALLY by consistently putting on great matches!

At what point does WWE realize that Rey Fenix is becoming a must-see superstar?

🐍 CODY RHODES vs. RANDY ORTON — THE MOST INTERESTING STORY ON SMACKDOWN?!

It was GREAT seeing Randy Orton back in the picture tonight!

We're genuinely interested in where WWE is taking this rivalry, especially with Randy continuing to challenge Cody's killer instinct.

Cody may have finally delivered a Punt Kick to Baron Corbin, but when he had RANDY in front of him, he still hesitated!

And that's the problem!

If Cody struggles to cross that line against somebody else, what's going to happen when it's Randy Orton standing across from him?

Is Cody really becoming more dangerous, or is Randy proving that Cody will NEVER have the killer instinct needed to beat him at his own game?

💅🏽 IS B-FAB THE REAL LEADER OF THE BADDIES?!

Now THIS is an interesting conversation!

Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab have the look and attitude, but we're starting to notice something.

B-FAB MIGHT BE THE COMPLETE PACKAGE!

🎤 She can TALK!

💪 She can WRESTLE!

🔥 She can DRESS!

And yes, when you're calling yourselves THE BADDIES, presentation MATTERS! 😂

While Jade continues developing her in-ring abilities and Michin works on becoming a stronger talker, B-Fab seems to already understand the entire assignment!

Is B-Fab quietly becoming the de facto leader of the group?

And should WWE start presenting her as the STAR of The Baddies?

🔥 PLUS, WE DISCUSS:

👑 Sami Zayn's increasingly arrogant WWE Championship reign

💰 Penta's Money in the Bank briefcase hanging over the championship picture

🔥 Trick Williams continuing to establish himself as a major player

👀 The women's tag team championship picture

🤔 WWE moving storylines forward without necessarily making them more entertaining

🚨 THE BIGGER PROBLEM WITH SMACKDOWN…

We're not saying NOTHING happened.

We're saying that just because something happens doesn't automatically make it INTERESTING!

WWE has incredible talent, plenty of storylines and more than enough resources to put on an entertaining show.

So why do so many episodes feel like we're just going through the motions?

We break down what worked, what didn't, and why Rey Fenix, Randy Orton and B-Fab gave us some of the most interesting things to talk about tonight!

👇 JOIN THE 8301 DEBATE!

😴 Was tonight's SmackDown boring or did you enjoy it?

🏆 Is Rey Fenix WWE's most consistently entertaining in-ring performer right now?

🐍 Will Cody Rhodes EVER be able to go all the way against Randy Orton?

💅🏽 Is B-Fab the REAL star and leader of The Baddies?

🤔 Is WWE confusing storyline progression with actual entertainment?

🔥 What was YOUR favorite moment of SmackDown?

🚨 CARMELO HAYES IS BACK! 946 JUST GOT MORE DANGEROUS! AND WWE IS TURNING EVERYTHING INTO A BUSINESS! 💰🔥

🎙️ THE 8301 PODCAST IS BACK!

Marcus Brown & Chris Long break down the October 12, 2026 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw — and for the first time in a while, we actually have some POSITIVE things to say about WWE!

Tonight's Raw gave us surprises, great wrestling, interesting character development and some storylines worth getting excited about!

But that doesn't mean WWE is escaping criticism! 😂

🔥 TONIGHT WE DISCUSS:

🚨 CARMELO HAYES RETURNS AND JOINS 946?!
Now THIS is something we're excited about! Carmelo Hayes makes his presence felt in a MAJOR way, helping Royce Keys and 946 destroy Solo Sikoa and The Usos!

Does Carmelo finally give 946 the star power they've been missing? And what does this mean for Roman Reigns and the rest of The Bloodline?

🏆 REY FENIX vs. CHAD GABLE — MATCH OF THE NIGHT!
These two put on a wrestling clinic! Rey Fenix continues getting over ORGANICALLY by doing what he does best — WRESTLING!

No forced catchphrases. No unnecessary character changes. Just incredible performances that make fans want to see more!

Is WWE finally realizing that great wrestling can create stars?

👑 OBA FEMI DOESN'T NEED PAUL HEYMAN!
Paul Heyman wants Oba Femi on his side, but Oba made one thing perfectly clear:

HE'S AN OBA FEMI GUY!

Does Oba already have everything he needs to become WWE's next megastar?

💥 BRON BREAKKER DESTROYS JE'VON EVANS!
Je'Von shows up injured, and Bron Breakker delivers a devastating Spear!

Is WWE doing a great job building Bron as a monster heel, or is Je'Von becoming his personal punching bag?

🪜 PENTA IS MR. MONEY IN THE BANK!
We're HAPPY to see Penta holding that briefcase!

But where does WWE go with him now? Is a world championship actually in his future?

💰 HAS WWE TURNED EVERY MOMENT INTO SOMETHING TO SELL?!

Here's where the conversation gets REALLY interesting!

From the ambulance involved in Je'Von Evans' Money in the Bank moment to Penta's MITB celebration, WWE seems determined to turn every memorable moment into another merchandising opportunity.

We're all for WWE making money, but at what point does BUSINESS start overshadowing the ENTERTAINMENT?

Are we watching wrestling storylines or elaborate product commercials?

🔥 PLUS:
• The Bloodline's internal problems and Roman Reigns' absence
• Liv Morgan's championship celebration and Chelsea Green
• Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch's unfinished business
• Ethan Page attacking Rey Fenix
• Where WWE's biggest storylines go from here

🎯 THE BOTTOM LINE:

This was a GOOD episode of Monday Night Raw!

We enjoyed the wrestling, loved seeing Carmelo Hayes back, and appreciated some of the creative direction.

But there's still A LOT to question about WWE's booking and how heavily the company is monetizing every moment.

And we're breaking ALL OF IT DOWN!

👇 JOIN THE 8301 DEBATE!

🔥 Does Carmelo Hayes make 946 a legitimate threat?

🏆 Was Rey Fenix vs. Chad Gable the match of the night?

👑 Is Oba Femi better WITHOUT Paul Heyman?

💥 Is Bron Breakker going too far with Je'Von Evans?

🪜 Should Penta become a world champion?

💰 Has WWE gone OVERBOARD with merchandising?

🤔 Was this one of the better episodes of Raw lately?
