Mark 9:1-32
Just a glimpse…
Have you ever just gotten a glimpse of something? You did not get to fully see it or take it all in, but you got to see it for a moment. What would you like to get a glimpse of? Many want to get a glimpse of things we are interested in, people thatfascinate us, places that don’t even look real in pictures. What is so special about getting a glimpse of something? I know what it is for me. It makes it real.
Be honest, have any of us ever said that about Jesus? Would you love to get a glimpse of His face? Wouldn’t it be awesome to hear one of His teachings live, in person or to see one of His miracles as He performed it? Good news! If you are a follower,a disciple of Jesus. If you have given your life to Him and you fully trust in Him for your forgiveness, salvation, and the promise He made that He will come back again. Then you and I will get to fully experience His presence for all eternity! But till then we can read about accounts like this one in Mark 9.
