A proposito di questo titolo
As a First Responder, there really is no room for trauma, the job demands resilience at any cost. You are expected to keep it together and not show signs of weakness. The truth is, the body remembers what the mind tries to forget, forced silence becomes dangerous.
In this solo episode, I share my story as a former Paramedic, how one call became the tipping point that sent me into a spiral of PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I talk openly about the experienced isolation, in the face of ridicule and the lack of real support when you’re struggling to put your uniform on.
This isn’t a clinical conversation. It’s a human one.
I also share what actually helped me heal when traditional paths fail. My experience with a single dose of Psilocybin that became the turning point, allowing me to reclaim my life, my nervous system, and my sense of self.
If you’re a first responder, a veteran, or someone quietly carrying trauma while trying to be “OK,” this episode is for you. You’re not weak. You’re not broken. And you’re not alone.
There is hope and there are other ways forward.
