Eccoci arrivati ad un momento di svolta: questo è l'ultimo viaggio "sereno", anche se surreale, di Emmanuel con Gianni. Il fotografo mostra sempre più evidenti (anche se piuttosto comici) segno di squilibrio mentale, ed è chiaro che la situazione non potrà reggere a lungo.

Emmanuel ne è consapevole e vive questa situazione con profondo turbamento, ma, come è tipico del suo carattere tenace, si aggrappa con forza alle piccole cose e alla cosa più grande di tutte, che nonostante tutto resta: l'amore di Gianni.

Ora il ragazzo si illude di vivere una sorta di riedizione dei magici momenti di "Chalet La Marmotte", ma le cose sono molto cambiate da un anno a questa parte.

Emmanuel si trova coinvolto in un servizio fotografico ad alta quota; questa volta però non è lui il fotomodello: si limita ad accompagnare Gianni in veste di autista e di collaboratore, cosa che in verità fa con piacere.

Il servizio fotografico però si rivela alquanto surreale...

Here we are at a turning point: this is Emmanuel's last 'peaceful', albeit surreal, journey with Gianni. The photographer is showing increasingly obvious (albeit rather comical) signs of mental instability, and it is clear that the situation cannot continue for long.

Emmanuel is aware of this and finds the situation deeply upsetting, but, true to his tenacious character, he clings tightly to the little things and to the greatest thing of all, which remains despite everything: Gianni's love.

Now the boy deludes himself into thinking he is reliving a sort of re-edition of the magical moments of "Chalet La Marmotte", but things have changed a lot over the past year.

Emmanuel finds himself involved in a high-altitude photo shoot; this time, however, he is not the model: he merely accompanies Gianni as his driver and assistant, which he actually enjoys doing.

However, the photo shoot turns out to be rather surreal...
