After being accused of sexual assault, Daniel Holtzclaw was interrogated by detectives. Holtzclaw proactively offered to undergo a polygraph examination and consented to DNA testing, demanding to obtain the evidence he thought would exonerate him. He signed waivers, effectively throwing away his own rights. Investigators collected his DNA, examined his uniform. They searched his phone, personal vehicle, and apartment. During the trial, DNA evidence became a focal point. There was DNA that matched his accusers, but how did it get there?
