Dr. Mark Solms recieved his PhD in neuropsychology and is the chair of neuropsychology at the University of Cape Town. We discuss all about his book on consciousness entitled The Hidden Spring which explores the roots of consciousness in the human brain and attempts to explain how our understanding of the physcial process of consciousness solves many of the philosophical dillemmas consciousness presents.
