Join us on a captivating journey with Irish writer, traveller and broadcaster Manchán Magan, who has now passed away, as we explore the surprising connections between Ireland and Iceland. From DNA and saga literature to language, landscape, and mythology. In this episode of Creatives Come Together, Manchán shares his fascination with how cultures evolve through movement and exchange, and how stories, place names, and old beliefs continue to shape our understanding of the world. Discover how the Irish and Icelandic imaginations intertwine through monks and manuscripts, fairy folk and land spirits, and the enduring dialogue between people and place. It’s a journey through myths, migration, and memory. @CreativesComeTogether
