The Lindsay Clancy trial has been all of the rage recently, so we need to know: Where should we stand on personal responsibility in regards to temporary insanity?

On today’s podcast, Pastor Derek and Pastor Jackie talk through a very sensitive and controversial topic and look at the biblical (as well as historical) examples of insane individuals committing sin and see how God views the tension of personal responsibility and temporary insanity. Our hope is that as you listen, you will be better informed on the biblical perspective of an issue that isn't new to our country and has huge ramifications on how issues like this are handled in the future.

The 17:17 podcast is a ministry of Roseville Baptist Church (MN) that seeks to tackle cultural issues and societal questions from a biblical worldview so that listeners discover what the Bible has to say about the key issues they face on a daily basis. The 17:17 podcast seeks to teach the truth of God's Word in a way that is glorifying to God and easy to understand with the hope of furthering God's kingdom in Spirit and in Truth.
