St. Luke’s Gospel and the Book of Acts bear witness to the same apostolic faith proclaimed by St. Paul: Jesus Christ has died, risen, reigns in glory, and calls all people to repentance, faith, and life in His Kingdom. This sermon reflects on St. Luke as evangelist, physician, companion of St. Paul, and faithful recorder of Christ’s saving work. In a post-Christian culture marked by spiritual confusion and hunger, evangelism is not salesmanship or emotional manipulation, but the clear proclamation of what God has done in Christ. Every baptized Christian is called to pray, speak the Creed, share the Gospel, invite others into the life of the Church, and labor faithfully in the Lord’s abundant harvest.
