Hosts Jaredith Mize & Bryce Kyle discuss theology, faith, and culture from an Apostolic perspective. This show tackles serious social issues such as race, poverty, gay rights, war, etc. We shy away from nothing.

This was the first discussion style podcast designed with the Apostolic Pentecostal movement in mind.

Jaredith is a UPCI minister, his dad was an ALJC pastor, and his great-grandfather was a PAW pastor, so his roots run deep in the Apostolic movement.

Bryce comes from a diverse background of faith experience. He grew up in the Baptist church and spent several years in a charismatic community church before coming to the Apostolic church. He is pursuing his minister's license as well.

  • Politics and the Church with Justin Giboney (Founder of The AND Campaign)

Politics and the Church with Justin Giboney (Founder of The AND Campaign)
    Apr 21 2026
In this thought-provoking episode, we sit down with Justin Giboney (attorney, political strategist, and co-founder of The AND Campaign) to explore what it truly means for Christians to engage in politics with both conviction and compassion. Justin shares his journey from campaign politics in Atlanta to launching a movement aimed at reshaping how Christians approach the public square. Frustrated by a culture where political parties often replace biblical frameworks, he explains why faith should never be subordinated to ideology and how the Gospel calls believers to something deeper. Together, we unpack:
    • Why many Christians default to partisan thinking and how to break free
    • The importance of developing a biblical framework for political engagement
    • How “compassion & conviction” challenges both the political right and left
    • Moving beyond one-issue voting to a more holistic, “whole life” perspective
    • Practical ways to escape echo chambers and engage in more thoughtful, grace-filled conversations
Justin also discusses his book Compassion & Conviction (co-authored with Chris Butler and Michael Wear), offering a roadmap for Christians who want to navigate politics faithfully without sacrificing truth or love. If you’ve ever felt frustrated by the lack of nuance, compassion, or biblical grounding in today’s political conversations, this episode will challenge and equip you to think and engage differently.

    • How today’s generation is rediscovering foundational questions about Jesus, identity, and truth
    • The importance of understanding who God is before asking what the Bible says about us
    • Practical ways to help new believers (and seasoned Christians) learn how to study the Bible
We also dive into the world of Bible publishing, including:
    • The differences between Bible translations (KJV, NKJV, NIV, ESV, etc.)
    • Why it’s helpful to read multiple translations
    • The fascinating story behind the NET Bible and its 60,000+ translator notes
    • A deep look at the Open Bible (50th Anniversary Edition) and how it helps believers connect Scripture with Scripture
Whether you’re a pastor, leader, or simply someone who wants to grow deeper in your faith, this conversation will challenge and equip you to move from surface-level reading to meaningful engagement with God’s Word.
