Why do people do things like this? I just don't understand how people can assert their sense of 'safe' when over-reaching rigid adherence to rules and posted limits actually makes things so much worse, longer, and more painful. Speed limit is 25 mph? Go 30. Is there a *line* of people behind you on the sidewalk? Please pick up your feet and get a move on. For the love of God, prepare what you want to order at a cafe WHILE YOU ARE IN THE LINE, rather than when you arrive at the cash register.
