A proposito di questo titolo

What started as two strangers bonding over the worst thing that ever happened to us has evolved into a comedy podcast about grief, healing, and all the messy, inappropriate, hilarious moments in between. We're here to prove that grief doesn't have to be all tissues and hushed voices - sometimes it's ugly crying while laughing at your own jokes. Through honest conversations, inappropriate humor, and zero filters, we're creating a space where grief gets real and healing gets funny. Because if we don't laugh about it, we'll cry about it, and frankly, we're tired of crying.Aleksei Archer and Audra Milosch
  • Death & Sex
    Dec 12 2025

Grief fucks with everything, including your sex drive. This week we're getting messy and honest about death and intimacy: how loss can send your libido into overdrive or kill it completely, why you might find yourself looking for physical connection in all the wrong places, and how your need for intimacy can get weaponized against you when you're vulnerable.

We talk about using sex as a coping mechanism, why we recommend taking a year off dating if you're single and grieving (spoiler: go to a support group instead), and how suicide loss survivors can struggle to believe they're even lovable because of the way they lost their person.

We also dive into International Suicide Loss Survivor Day: why it might be too much when you're freshly grieving but becomes incredibly healing later on. The support groups break you out by who you lost, the walks are a gentle way to dip your toe into community, and by year three, you might even find yourself laughing. Progress is real.

Plus: how to regulate your nervous system through positive self-talk and self-touch (yes, including masturbation), why it's hard to love yourself out loud when grief has you convinced you're unlovable, and how to ask yourself what you really need instead of reaching for casual intimacy. There's no wrong way to grieve, but learning from your mistakes and forgiving yourself matters.

Your homework: write a letter to your body. Women already go through enough—your body deserves some love. 💙

  • Secondary Losses
    Dec 5 2025

Losing someone you love doesn't stop at their death. It's just the beginning of losing a thousand other things you didn't see coming. This week we're talking about secondary losses: the friendships that vanish, the trust that shatters, the ability to make small talk without trauma dumping, and all the other bullshit grief takes from you when you weren't looking.

We dive into how people surprise you, sometimes by showing up when you least expect it, and sometimes by completely disappearing. Shoutout to Aleksei's ex who skipped her dad's funeral but made it to Burning Man. We talk about getting ghosted by dates after mentioning your dead parent, losing the feeling of safety in relationships, living in permanent fight or flight mode, and how "waiting for the other shoe to drop" becomes your new normal. Plus: how to tell someone you're a fresh suicide loss survivor without sending them running, and why finding a grief community matters (because they actually know how to show up.)

Secondary losses are the grief nobody warns you about, until now. 💙

  • How Grief Lives in the Body
    Nov 28 2025

This week we got real about something no one talks about: what happens to sex, intimacy, and trust after you lose someone. We dive into dating as single grievers, why hookups can feel like medicine or trigger panic attacks, how sex can make you feel in control when everything else is chaos, and why intimacy actually feels better now because we know ourselves more deeply. You can only feel as good as you can feel bad—and we've felt it all.

We also get into trust: learning to trust other people again, but more importantly, learning to trust yourself after grief shatters that foundation. We have a deep, vulnerable conversation about our friendship, why it's okay to ask someone if they're having suicidal ideations (it helps, it doesn't encourage), and how people don't know what you're going through unless you communicate it. Plus: why asking for help is hard but necessary.

This episode is about how grief lives in your body and the importance of somatic healing—Reiki, sound healing, the Sedona Method—and how self-touch (yes, including masturbation and self-hugs) can help you trust yourself again. It's about becoming your own safe space after people didn't show up the way you needed them to, feeling your feelings without drowning in them, and finding the better version of yourself through internal healing. 💙

🧠 November is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month - let's keep the conversation going.
