A proposito di questo titolo
At Decolonize and Rize, one of our values that grounds and guides our work is Embodiment. But what exactly does that mean? Colonization has created disconnection—disconnection to self, others, and the land .Part of the decolonizing journey involves reestablishing those connections. Join us as we talk about what it means and what it feels like to embody your truth, embody liberation, and embody the decolonial journey.
About our guest, Lee Mae Spence: Lee Mae Spence is an Ininew First Nations, Metis and mixed settler woman from Treaty 5 Territory in northern Manitoba, Canada. As the founder of Embodied Resurgence, she is on a mission to transmute apathy to liberation, because it’s our right. In the last 10 years, she has supported individuals and organizations to have meaningful and transformative conversations on the intersections of colonialism, intergenerational trauma, ancestral reclamation and collective wholistic wellbeing. And accountability begins with ourselves.
