For over twenty years, Kate Bigwood has worked as an osteopath and a farmer. Through her work as an osteopath, Kate came to understand the health of the body, one that thrives when it's in balance, well nourished and relaxed. On the farm, Kate sees those same patterns and is exploring how to produce food in ways that respect nature, restore balance and nurture health in its widest sense, starting with the soil.

During our chat, Kate explains what she is doing on the farm to create a place where soil, plants, animals and people all thrive together. She explains how we can all get involved, those with only a small garden and those with acres of land. Working in her community and getting everyone involved is part of what Kate does and for each of us to thrive, we must all thrive.
