Zane Carney has been described as a “massive guitar player” by Thundercat and named “the future of electric guitar” by HuffPost. Carney’s discography includes playing on Thundercat’s “Drunk,” John Mayer’s “Paradise Valley,” and serving as John Daversa’s guitarist with appearances on his Big Band and Small Band albums including the Grammy-nominated “Kaleidoscope Eyes,” along with “Junk Wagon,” “Artful Joy,” and “Wobbly Dance Flower” featuring Bob Mintzer. Over the years, he has performed with members of the West Coast Get Down collective including Kamasi Washington, Ronald Bruner Jr., Brandon Coleman, Cameron Graves, as well as Sam Gendel, among others.
