Welcome back to another episode where I chat with my good friend Rachel about academic stress in Korea. We discuss how performing well academically was apart of our identity in an Asian and Asian-American household & how we have learned to deal with failure as adults. Also Rachel shares her immigration story to America and how she attended community college as a 19 year-old without being able to fluently speak English (she was able to read and write). She's openly shares how she figured out how to overcome fear to navigate American cultural norms and establishing her life here in the US.
