On this episode Kirk details a trip from 2016 about being on a coach (bus) in England and John visits a hyperbaric chamber like Ted Williams. You know, to live forever. All of this is super comic savvy. And it was a decompression float chamber with oxygen and non existent playlists, not a cryogenic freezing.

We also touch on Lanterns, the amazing show on HBO MAX. There are spoilers, but not too much to ruin the show if you haven't watched in its entirety. Manuel and Kirk touch on the cultural tones of the show and John criticizes them by saying their too "woke". Not true, but it is a poignant and relevant conversation.

And this leads to our Doomsday!!!!! Avengers: Endgame Encore came out and Manuel talks about the excitement and fresh feeling it had seeing it in the theater again. "It felt like I was watching it for the second time in the theater the day after it came out."

The post credits scene set up Avengers: Doomsday and allows Loki to be your guide. Like Loki, we were burdened with glorious purpose to have our own takes on nerdy shit we love.

Welcome to a new chapter as we launch our first official Orca Comics Pod. As John so eloquently put in the pre-show, "Same poop, different scoop." You're still gonna get the same fun-loving banter and takes from the crew, just with a new title.

This week we talk Spider-Man Brand New Day. It has been one of the better Marvel movies as of late and a top tier street level Spider-Man story and a little bit of extra zest with Jean being introduced and Frank Castle being thrown in the mix as well.
