People emigrate for so many different reasons. For many, its the prospect of 'a better life' in another country. Naturally then, those who leave for a better life are filled with optimism, but are often blindsided by the realities of adjusting to life in this new place.
To be successful as an immigrant, you have to be able to let go of your past life and allow yourself to fully embrace the different life you now have in a new place. If you cling to the life you once had, you will never fully adjust or integrate into your new country.
