'Excellent . . . A celebration of peculiarity' VOGUE

'Humour-packed, irreverent, eccentric' ELLE

Have you ever wondered what it would be like talk to Parker Posey? On an airplane, with Posey as your seat companion, perhaps?

In this ingenious, hilarious, and enchanting memoir, actress and star of movies such as White Lotus, Dazed and Confused and Party Girl, Parker takes us into her colourful southern childhood home, behind the scenes of the indie film revolution in the 90s, shows us the delightful absurdity of big-budget genre thrillers, and shares the creativity that will always be part of both her acting and her personal life.

With whimsical how-tos, recipes, and beautiful handmade collages, Parker gives the reader a feeling of traveling by her side, exploring and celebrating what it means to be an artist.©2018 Parker Posey Attori Intrattenimento e personaggi famosi

Recensioni della critica

[Parker Posey] has deigned to bless us with her infinite wisdom and enough personal anecdotes to satiate even her most rabid fans. Glory be: she has a narrative voice! And it's just as funny and insouciant as you might hope!
Excellent . . . a celebration of peculiarity
Irreverent in the best way possible
[Parker] writes hilariously and thoughtfully
[You're on an Airplane] plays out on the page like an intimate performance you're privileged by chance to have caught . . . sublimely entertaining
A humour-packed, irreverent, eccentric book packed with personal stories, whimsical how-tos and recipes, as well as collages made by her
As original, refreshing, and funny as her most recognizable characters
Genuinely funny
Unlike anything else; a trippy, intimate read filled with illustrations, recipes and witty anecdotes. It's also full of mourning for an independent film industry that no longer exists, and the specific pain of feeling as if you're on a
different wavelength to everyone else.
