Charming tale well performed
Really enjoyed this tale. Took a bit of remembering all the characters but well acted and a classic Christie tale with twists and charming main characters

Classis Christie
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Sure, it was fun.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The characters were cute and fun.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Emilia Fox?
Someone with a better grasp of their American accent.

Dreadful Narration
I am so very upset that this is the only option for beloved Agatha Christie. Hugh Fraser please complete the collection! You are the very best! Emilia has no feel for it, you can tell she is not passionate in any way! The accent alone in the opening chapter should be an indication. Great story ruined, I’d like my credit back!

Decent Christie ruined by narrator
I do hope that Emilia Fox won't be let loose on any more audiobooks. Her reading is wooden, and when she attempted any accent I was praying for it to stop. I'm assuming that the only reason she was chosen was that she can read in an RP accent. It's a shame, because this is one of Agatha Christie's more decent non- Poirot or Marple stories.

Great story - waiting for Hugh Fraser to read it
Good story not often told. emilia Fox is ok but not brilliant and some of her voices are laughable - distracting even. Hurry up and get Hugh to finish the cannon of Agatha Christie :) he has the most amazing voice for audio books

Excellent audiobook
Great witty cosy crime from Agatha Christie. Perfectly read by Emilia Fox. Loved it. Very enjoyable.

Superb reading
I have enjoyed Emilia Fox’s reading very much. Great ability to change intonation and give each character his/her own peculiarity. She is one of my favourite readers. I have loved the book greatly.

lovely retro story capturing the time
I loved this different Agatha Christie. fun
twee. satisfactory. stylish. transported me to a different world. in the vein of DL Sayers.if you like Wimsey you'll like this

1920s early story
I enjoy this early Agatha Christie story for it's twists and turns but I really prefer the later stories, as they don't tend to be quite so full of 'jolly young things'. It is however still worth a listen.

Why didn't they ask Evans?
A sunny day playing golf a scream a3/4 dead body unconscious he wakes to say why didn't they ask Evans? then dies
Who is Evans and who is the victim was he pushed or fallen?
These are the questions Bobby wants answers to but little did he know what he was getting into. A very intriguing storyline with lots of twists and misdirection really good audio book

Blackboard scratching narration
Wanted to reread this after seeing Hugh Laurie’s rendition as his ending seemed a bit rushed. But good lord, Fox’s narration is truly grating. All he’d women veritably screech in a high pitch, whereas the men are just silly. Don’t ruin a classic whodunnit by picking such a terrible narrator. Fame doesn’t trump talent.

Good book average narration
I am sure Emilia Fox is a good actor, but her narration and accents are not the best for this book.
