Where Foxes Say Goodnight is a paranormal romance featuring one heartbroken screenwriter, one down-on-his-luck hunk, some missing jewels, and a grandmother's meddling ghost. It's a standalone novel with a guaranteed HEA.
©2023 Sam Burns (P)2024 Podium AudioIt has the same vibes as a Hallmark movie. The romance is insta love, but I didn't mind it because the plot of the house and the ghost that inhabits it are as important as the romance, so the author takes her time with it.
The paranormal element was more cozy than actually scary, but I preferred it, especially considering the plot twist at the end. I liked the explanation for it.
The mystery was ok. You don't really have time to ask who the murderer is, that it gets revealed. However, the love story makes up for it.
Loved the narration so much! Greg Boudreaux was ACTING.
I'm curious to revisit these characters in the sequel!
