Whale Nation is a hymn to the beauty, intelligence, and majesty of the largest mammal on earth. A "green classic" read with natural resonance by its author, it rarely fails to strike a chord in the hearts of those concerned with the abuse of our planet.

Part natural history, poetry and ecologic statement, Heathcote Williams's presentation is a moving audio. Listeners will learn and think about whales as never before. In addition, this is a breakthrough in format for audio programs. The presentation combines commentary and prose with historical reference and facts. Williams departs from current forms of spoken audio and opens a realm of possibilities. Listeners will be fascinated by the stunning program, and producers should take note of the possibilities showcased in the format.
