I would very much have liked MORE from this piece. More detail, more information...more actual journalism! Everybody already knows the same old media talking points on the flu shot. What about the study that this is based on? What are it’s strengths and weaknesses? How does it compare to other studies done on the same topic but using different methodology? Is it stronger? Weaker? How does it’s methodology compare to studies that had an antithetical conclusion? Who funded the study, and could that funding have had any bearing on the results? I wish this author had made it interesting. Instead, it was painfully predictable and blah. Won’t be citing this one for my research paper!
