Recensioni editoriali

An American classic, Melville Davisson Post's Uncle Abner mysteries see a modern retelling in this powerful performance from Walter Covell. Covell's deep, resonant voice adds extra drama to these tales of justice-wielding Virginia backwoodsman Uncle Abner. Set in the early 19th century before the foundation of the American police system, Abner takes justice into his own hands, with the help of an inborn knowledge of human psychology and a sense of ethics taken from the Bible. Including stories like "The Wrong Hand", "The Treasure Hunter", and "A Twilight Adventure", this collection is a compelling listening for anyone who loves first-rate mystery.
