Awesome author!
The game by terry schott is my current favorite series and because of it I’ve become a fast fan of his other work including towers!

A slow burn…
That really only grabbed my attention in the last 90 min or so. So much filler that could have been left out and probably combined with the second book to make it more exciting.
I will say the last 90 min were really good and will prob have me giving book two a shot.

Best I have heard/read in ages!
Caught me from the first chapter. Plot, narration, writing are all superb. Now I am going to spend some money on the next book!

Great for a young adult series
Much like The Game is Life series the storyline and characters of Towers are captivating and entertaining. The main characters are young and sometimes the book feels equally young, but the author is great about keeping interest up enough to get past those points.
An easy listen :)

My New Favorite!
Luna comes of age and is able to choose her profession, or is she? There are snippets of what might be in her future based on the vivid dreams she experiences and the special powers she has yet to learn she has. Is she the chosen one?
I'm guessing this is set in the future based on the tech and the style of speech/words/phrases used and just how the world is portrayed (reference to old style telephone land lines). The characters are likeable and I was gutted when the book ended on a cliff hanger BUT was pleased to see that the second in the trilogy will be available on audible on 29th June. I have it in my wish list and the third book is available on Kindle. I may wait until the third is available on audible but it's a great story, one I couldn't put down so might not be able to. I love to listen and usually listen when I'm walking my dog but this book had me listening through an Echo Dot in my kitchen while I was cooking tea. I haven't done this before but I just couldn't wait for my evening walk every time :-)
