With The Valley of Fear, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle introduces the dastardly Professor Moriarty, foil to his genius investigator Sherlock Holmes. Performer Walter Zimmerman brims with intrigue and good humor as he follows Holmes on the case of a mysterious murder perpetrated by a secret society, the Ancient Order of Freemen. Complicating matters, it seems that the deceased was himself a member of the covert fraternity. Holmes and his faithful sidekick, John Watson, trace the perpetrators from the coasts of California to a stately English manor, uncovering a jealous love triangle.
