Exploration of meaning of your life

Dr. Arrien uses her wisdom, stories, myth, and warm style to guide you through the process of finding meaning and purpose in your life. The Second Half of Life is a great guidebook for people in their mid-thirties and beyond. Dr. Arrien is a gifted story-teller, and she takes the time to explain the meaning of the stories she tells.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

How did the narrator detract from the book?

her voice is SO monotone it is really difficut for me to listen to more than 15 minutes at a time, I really want to listen to this because I like what she is talking about but this book should have been read by a proffessional, someone entertaining.

What’s missing from the world

Beautifully written and narrated. I can’t believe I had never heard this life changing and guiding wisdom, compassion and direction before.
I would rather have learnt this than the school curriculum.
