Great way to start the day

This is a review of the NYT Audio Digest as a whole and not just today's episode. This is a great way for me to commute to work and still start off the day with all the current news. I like the selection of articles - it seems to be a good mix.

The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that the reader (to whome I give immense credit for doing this nearly every weekday over several years)routinely mangles the pronunciation of proper names, especially foreign ones. The one that really gets me is Sarkozy. I don't know how he comes up with Sar-ko-ZAY instead of Sar-ko-ZEE... except for the accented syllable, it's exactly the same in French and English. Doesn't this gentleman ever listen to other news media? It doesn't take much time to do a bit of research and get it right.
