Author Deborah Kogan Ray clearly and succinctly sets up how Norwegian anthropologist Heyerdahl became convinced that ancient Peruvians arrived in the South Pacific via raft, why he wanted to re-create the voyage, and how he planned for it. She uses primary-source quotations on each spread to shore up the factual history of the events portrayed in the book.

A Rip Off. Not A Book!! Do not Buy!!!
This was a rip off. Not a book! But still charged a credit!! Do Not Fall For it!! I demand reimbursement of my credit!! Or I will leave Audible!!

Do not BUY!
The book Kon-Tiki itself is great but not this 14 minute clip of the book, (which I realized after buying) is not worth spending a credit on, hopefully I can find the real full book somewhere else!!

Not Kon-Tiki
Very disappointed to find that 1) this is not the Thor Heyerdahl book, and 2) it's not very long, and 3) I used up a Credit to buy it!! How is it that the original book was translated into 71 languages and yet there is not an English audiobook available here? 😪
