Repetitive so I returned it. No great secret.
I returned it and was upset. The great secret is being an observer of your thoughts and feelings to help with emotional regulation. Well-known. Not a secret. So disappointed. And the music continually in background is beautiful but annoying after introduction.

Content good/music distracting/too loud at times
It’s release day! I preordered this book and received it at approximately 3:04 a.m. Yesssssss! I’m so excited as I’ve been waiting since the announcement that she was writing another book. The content is good as it’s pretty much what you already know but written plainly, if not meditate and read the Bible. The foundational principles are pretty much the same. I purchased the audible version and it’s an extremely hard listen! I’m not sure why an author would become so successful from a series of books and change what worked. I have all Rhonda Byrne’s books in one form or another and they are great! This book provides an intro with music which is slightly too loud making it a little difficult, at times to hear the voices. My thought was ok get through the intro and the book will be great! You have got to be kidding! Each full chapter is accompanied by slightly too loud and distracting (that’s suppose to be relaxing) music. This was not a good experience. I have been waiting for months and looking forward to listening to this book, what a let down! Lesson learned be anxious for nothing.

Constant music throughout is too distracting
Honestly, I couldn’t even make it through the audiobook. It’s a shame, but there is background music throughout the ENTIRE audiobook! I’ve never encountered that before. It’s so incredibly distracting, that I couldn’t even bring myself to listen. I tried. It was actually a good exercise in self control, trying to power through the book! Haha. If they re-release the audiobook without the continual background music, I’d be more than happy to give this another shot and re-write my review! Just wanted to give my two cents, because I’m sure many others would find the music just as distracting.

Love this audio!
I wasn't going to buy this because of reviews about the loud music but stopped myself because of a lesson learned just the day before. Listen to myself! Well, at first the music did irritate me but I t realized it irritated me because someone was talking over beautiful music. So, I decided to listen to the divine music and just absorb whatever wisdom happen to be chatting at the time. Well, I'm not sure what happened but all of a sudden I was so damned happy I felt giddy as a child at the prospect of a birthday party. This audio is a masterpiece! As a student of A Course in Miracles for the last 20 years I found this brought everthing into crystal clear clarity. At 2 a.m. I was walking in the rain so thrilled at having feet and a face that could experience the brisk night air I thought I'd explode.

STOP the music!!!!!!
I am such a HUGE fan of Rhonda and I have listened to THE POWER probably 25 times so obviously the minute this came out I started listening but the background music just ruins this whole book! I'm not even halfway through and I'm struggling; why they continued to play background music is beyond me...it takes away from Rhonda's lovely Australian accent and some of the narrators I cannot even hear or understand. Very disappointing. :-(

Powerful - Could give 10 stars if I could...
I would give this 10 stars if I could. This one supplements the Secret...but it's deeper. I think the knowledge in this book is the essence of it all. Rhonda is a spiritual genius, she was able to cut through the noise and get to the essence that is very hard to explain even by religions... Understanding what she calls the greatest secret needs willingness to understand...It may not be obvious to many readers as she included a number of other concepts from her other books. It's also DEEPER. It will take PRACTICE of the concepts to truly understand the life changing depth of this secret (that's essentially a secret in plain sight)... I started understanding some of the key concepts about a year ago and this book confirmed them and laid them out in a clear & simple manner... essentially, the greatest secret is that:
1- we are pure awareness (i-e we are divine) and what stand between us and experiencing this awareness is identification with the body and most the mind (negativity and unnecessary thoughts, which originate in what we call "the voice in our head" or the "mind")
2- The rest of the book explains how this "voice in our head" that we confuse for ourselves interferes in many different forms (including constant shatter, limiting beliefs...etc) and causes a lot of unnecessary suffering.
People can understand the greatest secret theoretically ...I think all of us can get it... but will understand the life-chnaging depth of this concept only if they practice being aware of the presence, and being aware of this voice and catch it as it rears its head often in sneaky ways.
I got introduced to the concept of "the voice in our head" in Michael Singer's book Untethered Soul which was also a game changer for me. I read all Rhonda's books and I read 100s of books in personal development, spirituality, etc and I can say that Ronda's books in this order, the Secret, the Magic (gratitude) and the Greatest Secret in addition to the Untethered Soul are the top 4 books that changed my life in ways I couldn't even imagine 10 years ago. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Drop the continued background music.
I found nothing new that Robert Adams hasn't already said. YouTube has multiple videos that explain the concepts much better.
I hate the background music. Very distracting! The Power had the correct amount of music. This is overkill.

I don't understand the bad reviews
I don't get why people aren't liking this book. I'm glad I didn't let them dissuade me. The music could be a little quieter, but it's peaceful and I didn't mind it. Narration is perfect, message is profound. I highly recommend.
