Sintesi dell'editore
Fifteen-year-old Morgan has a secret: She can't wait to escape the perfect little island where she lives. She's desperate to finish high school and escape her sad divorced mom, her volatile little brother, and worst of all, her great group of friends...who don't understand Morgan at all. Because really, Morgan's biggest secret is that she has a lot of secrets, including the one about wanting to kiss another girl.
Then one night, Morgan is saved from drowning by a mysterious girl named Keltie. The two become friends, and suddenly life on the island doesn't seem so stifling anymore.
But Keltie has some secrets of her own. And as the girls start to fall in love, everything they're each trying to hide will find its way to the surface...whether Morgan is ready or not.

Relatable and appropriate for tweens.
I’m 44 years old and was closeted when I was in high school, terrified someone would find out. I related to the main character’s experience. I recommended this book to my friend whose daughter is 11 and questioning her sexuality. It’s clean, adventurous, fantastic, and meaningful.

A great coming-out-of the-closet story
A wonderful take on coming out of the closet, and being worried about others opinion. It’s like if you mixed realistic fiction and fantasy. With an unrealistic girl- *SPOILER* who is a seal?! But a realistic couple in the sense of Morgan wanting to keep it a secret that they were in love. It’s a very sweet and cute. I’m so glad that I got it, I love the characters. The narration is beautiful and all the voice actors are amazing. LGBTQ+ perfection.

Loved it
Even though I heard it was a parodic novel, they managed to tell it like a normal book. Love it
