American history devotional

In under three minutes, Abraham Lincoln changed the course of the American Civil War and Robertson Dean does the Gettysburg Address justice with his strong reading. Text and performance are short, strong, to the point, and hauntingly poetic.

Bazinga

Such a great speech. The narrator did a good job. I listen to this once a year on the anniversary of the speech; 19 November.

An important speech in history

The Gettysburg Address was obviously originally conceived of as a speech and audio is definitely the best way to experience it and understand it. This version is a straight reading of the speech (no contextualising introduction, narrator doesn't try to put on Lincoln's accent).
