Good performance
Good audible acting. Kept a distinct vernacular for moat of thw characters. Mark Twain is a tough author to read or listen to, with much use of words no longer used today.

Worth the time spent
The adventures of Tom & Huck has alot more to it than meets the eye. The racist undertone to the writing actually captured the period. The narrator keeps you intrigued

Genuinely Funny, Great Narration
Still holds up as genuinely very funny and nostalgic. I love whenever the kids explain their ‘rules’ for things like ghosts or witches, which essentially change every time they’re brought up. Has the timeless feeling that comes from watching the film A CHRISTMAS STORY- the narrator’s excellent characterizations and deadpan deliveries lean into this as well. A very fun read. [AUDIBLE]

Production issues
Lots of editing flaws. Is that background tape recorder noise I kept hearing? Words words words.

A must read & a pleasure to read
Mark Twain was a writer par excellence.
The narrator of this story has done an exceptional job and enhanced it to a level where the listener is taken back into that period of American history. A history that is a must read at every high School. This book can be read, listened to on so many different levels. Huckleberry Finn's struggles on a physical survival level as an abandoned vagrant and his struggles with the existing moral norms of those times is in itself a classic listen.
All in all, the book educates as does it provide for truly a gripping listen.

Really pleased with this. All on one token. I generally enjoyed the stories although the writing style is of course of its time.

Best book, and best audible reading. Think Twain himself would have approved of it
Henry Adam’s reading is beyond words perfect, and I liked it from the first couple of seconds into it. I was glued to it until the end. His reading was perfectly discernable, his tone was just right for every context and dialogue, his change of voice for each character, and his accents were all just so good. This is a gem of an audible book, and I couldn’t recommend it more.
