Hank is in real trouble this time. Loper and Sally May's relatives are coming for Christmas dinner, and Sally May has been working to get the entire ranch in order - including preparing for the Christmas feast. Unfortunately, when she discovers that the turkey she bought has met a terrible end, she pins the blame on Hank! Is he the guilty party, or have more sinister forces been at work to frame him for the crime?
Later that day things seem to be looking up - that is until the replacement Christmas turkey flies the coop, too, landing Hank in even deeper trouble! Can an act of true heroism right the terrible wrong and salvage Hank's reputation, or is he doomed to spend the rest of his doggie days in exile? Slim belts out "Good-bye to the Turkey, Hello Tuna Fish".

Never disappointed
What made the experience of listening to The Christmas Turkey Disaster the most enjoyable?
I have been a dedicated listener to Hank the Cowdog audiobooks for a long long time (since they were on cassette) and this is as classic as they get.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Christmas Turkey Disaster?
When Hank destroys his own bed in protest and realizes he has no where to sleep anymore.
What about John R. Erickson’s performance did you like?
He nails Hank and Drover's voices every time. Every. Time.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I listen to them all at one sitting (they aren't that long.)

John Erickson strikes gold again with Hank.
Our family has listened to Hank the Cowdog books on many road trips. This book is another hit with young and old alike.

Our favorite Hank story so far! I even teared up in this one. The voices that Mr. Erickson does are fantastic (we especially love Sally May;)

Great Christmas Story🎄
Thank you so much Audible for providing this recording. John R. Erickson is an amazingly hilarious author. By the way, this is a great story for car rides to Grandmas house during Christmas time👍🌲

Terrible Christmas bedtime story
Narrator is annoying, story is very poorly structured, and the sound effects are incredibly distracting.
30 mins into this book and it has nothing to do with Christmas yet.
My 7 daughter and I both did not enjoy this and gave up on it.

Top Hank performance!
This our family's all time favorite Hank case...you get hunting, Turkey bowl with the cousins, restitution for the cat and Hanks best Christmas gift. It will warm the cocklburs of your hearts.
