Constantly squealing and whining ruined the book.

The relentless high pitched whining ruined this book. Her character should have evolved into a tougher woman, but she even more whiny than the original stories.

I enjoyed the story but Ivy irritated me

If I didn’t enjoy the story so much & want to know the outcome I would have stopped listening.
You would think that by book 3 Ivy would have gotten some confidence and/or hope. Sadly She came off as a negative person & not very bright, not to mention a hypocrite.
I enjoy this author a lot & recently re-listened to all her other series, but this one I will not.

Did not like ending. It was hurried. Too many loose ends. Did Ivy get a new arm? How did Adrian impregnate Ivy? He had a vasectomy. Who did Costa leave Ivy’s sister with and why? Who was Ivy’s dad?

So disappointed

I cannot wait for new books to come out from Ms Frost, previously I have devowered them in one or 2 days. This books I really struggled with, it put it down 4 times meaning to give up. Eventually I picked it up again and started listening. I managed half an hour and gave up for good. I am seriously thinking of refunding as I am so disappointed.
It was like someone else had written it, trying to pull all the strings together in a very lame way.

I enjoyed the book

It was definitely worth listening to all three. I felt like the last book (this one) was kind of a let down. The end felt rushed, like there should have been more. The other two had had an epilogue, I was waiting for them to use Mana to reassemble her arm (which Costa had dropped on the floor) or for her to speak with the big boss, or one of a thousand different things that could have happened. It left me with more questions, and devoid of satisfaction that the characters so carefully created by Jeanine did not fulfill the most basic expectations at the end. That being said up until that point the book was fantastic. Even with the slight let down at the end I recommend it and as usual the book and story are Jeannine's and we don't always get the answer we seek from stories written by another. It's not Cat and Bones but it's good just the same!

Pretty good conclusion to the series :)

This was a pretty good conclusion to the series. I've liked Ivy and Adrian from the beginning and have wanted to see them find happiness together. Unfortunately, although they soul-bind themselves together in book #2, they do still have some drama to get past. Adrian still tends to lie (even if it's just to protect Ivy) and Ivy realizes he's lying but doesn't know what's being kept from her (which was at the end of book #2). So there's some definitely issues that Ivy and Adrian have to get past and it doesn't help that Ivy has this destiny that seems bound to kill her. Adrian wants to support her but how is a man supposed to watch the woman he loves sacrifice herself?

So Ivy and Adrian have to search for the third holy relic while trying to get past their issues/natures. Thankfully, their love binds them in ways that doesn't allow their conflicts to get in the way for too long. It takes some major effort and a good bit of self sacrifice but things do work out in the end, leaving Adrian and Ivy to start on a well deserved HEA together.

This was a pretty good story but I will admit that there are a few logic holes that bothered me as well as a plot point that left me some mixed feelings. But there were also things I really liked and that balanced it out. In the end, things did turn out well and the story left me with good feeling overall. :)

I Need More!!

'm a sheep.... baaaaaah! I'm so mad at myself for letting the negative reviews that I read for this series get into my head. I know Jeaniene Frost is an awesome story teller and writes bad a$$ heroines but I doubted her greatness. That's all on me. I think because I put her on a pedestal after falling in love with Bones (and Kat) that I was scared she wasn't going to live up to my expectations. I had to remember there's only one Kat and Bones and this is a different story and a different world all together and go in reading this as if it was a completely different author. I can't keep comparing all books to the Night Huntress series which is what I do!! So I bit the bullet and started listening to this series and I fell in love. I can't relate to the negative reviews at all. Ok maybe I can with one. It said that it ended abruptly and there was no epilogue to book 3. I agree with that comment but I'm hoping it's because we are going to find a follow up story to them in a future anthology. When I read a book I love when the h/H meet right away and then they are physically together for the majority of the book. That's what happened here. I also like that that action starts right away and again that's what happened here. The storyline was very interesting. Sometimes it was funny and sometimes it was sad.it was a perfect balance. There isn't any fluff or filler just to make the story longer. I hate when that happens. I think Ivy was a very strong character and although I wanted to strangle her at times, I totllay get her. And Adrian?? I loved his little lying demonic self. i listened to this whole series in 3 days and now that I'm finished I don't know what to listen to that'll be just as good. Oh yeah, one last thing. I can't remember if the sex scenes were descriptive or not but the story was so good that you wouldn't miss them if they weren't. If you are looking for an entertaining read and love paranormal than read/listen to this book. You won't be disappointed.

Wow, this was great!! I’m not giving away the ending but there was at least one loose end that I wish they would have tied up. Nevertheless I really enjoyed the series!

Questions

There were a lot of unanswered questions in this book. Like her getting pregnant and who her dad might have been where was her sister.. and I question why she was trying to be so sneaky highlighting from adrian..
