An earthquake at Masada. A desecrated tomb. An ancient gospel written in the blood of Christ that could plunge the world into darkness.

In his first-ever collaboration, New York Times bestselling author James Rollins combines his skill for cutting-edge science and historical mystery with award-winning novelist Rebecca Cantrell’s talent for haunting suspense and sensual atmosphere in a gothic tale about an ancient order and the hunt for a miraculous book known only as . . .The Blood Gospel

Rollins and Cantrell plunge an uneasy trio into this ancient conflict, following forensic archaeologist Dr. Erin Granger, Army Ranger Sergeant Jordan Stone, and Father Rhun Korza, a Vatican priest who harbors dark secrets of his own.

The fast-paced narrative weaves forensic archaeology with religious lore as the authors drive their unlikely allies from a devastated fortress in the Judean desert to a sunken repository in the Bavarian mountains.
