From the best author and lover in the known universe comes the (some say unofficial) sequel to one of the world's most popular books. Box-painter Richard "Goddammitwheresmyointment" Richards is thrown with a throwing throw into the deep end of weird when he stumbles across a portal to a strange and wonderful world full of evil ducks, Australian druids, and a mad, ginger-bearded dwarf who's angry at God for putting his knees on backwards. Can Rick save the planet from Biff the Destroyer and his Doom-O-Ray 3000 X? There's only one way to find out - listen to the book!

I read the paper version...
... and I just had to buy the audiobook because I wanted my boyfirend to hear it and he's too lazy to read. We were in hysterics all through this very funny book. My boyfriend did ask several times "what was this guy smoking?" Very funny but very nuts.

Wow, what a surprise!
I hadn't heard of this author/narrator, so I wasn't expecting too much. I listened to the sample and decided that I'd chuckled enough to risk my hard-earned pennies and it was the right decision! This is perhaps the most inane and insane book I've ever... um... heard. It's absolutely classic and original in a time where we seem to be innundated with overused and rehashed ideas. As for the narration, it can be a bit ropey in parts but the narrator knows his limits and from time to time throws in digs about his sometimes dodgy accents (in particular the Aussie accents - which I noticed, being an Aussie!). All in all a top notch title. It's ridiculously hilarious and worth every cent. And it's written by another Karl, so that makes it EXTRA amazing. I am eagerly awaiting the sequel!!!

Surely this guy who wrote and read this must be of the best character. He doesn't take himself too serious. This audio is good company during tedious tasks. I played it while I cleaned the big messy closet. It helped me push through the drudgery. Karl is a kick .
