Selassie, known as the Lion of Judah, was one of the most significant African rulers of the twentieth century. Edgar Rice Burroughs was no stranger to this colorful figure, who appears under one of his ceremonial names in Tarzan the Invincible, and in Tarzan the Magnificent, the jungle lord undertakes a mission on the emperor’s behalf.
