Don't pass on this book!
After reading the first in the series, I couldn't wait to read the second and will now begin the third. The characters are well fleshed out and the story is compelling and exciting. And the narration! I look forward to hearing this narrator again and again.

I've listened to this at least 5 times.
The narrator is top tier, the accents the intonation it's all fabulous. and the story intrigued me from start to finish.
a slight sidebar - I love the narrator's voice so much that I also listen to this book when I'm anxious, it calms me.
I hope there's another book in the series. I really love the characters and the world they've created.

Engaging Book
It’s hard to keep up with so many characters. At some point it doesn’t matter . Took me a while to figure out who were the bad guys. Guess that’s what kept me reading till the end I guess.

very complicated, too many people
Such unfortunate family dynamics. When it all ended, I just sighed with relief. The critical people at the end were not very well known, and there were dozens of people in between--too many to keep track of, bringing the book down in my estimation. I had enjoyed the first book tremendously, and have wanted to read this for a long time. Now, I'm disappointed and pretty sure I don't care for any more.

This series is well written, storyline captures your attention and keeps it and the editors have done a wonderful job! I especially like that the “partners” are just that.

Great book
I enjoyed the intrigue this book offered. Recommend highly. I hope others of this caliber come around quickly. I like Mr. Jayne’s knack of writing.

Great sequel
story was very captivating, narration leaves a lot to be desired. the second book did not disappoint.
