Expect a world where sci-fi meets eldritch nightmares and everyone is worse off, a determined MC who's out to make life better, and a unique cyberpunk/eldritch world. What not to expect? A story where the MC has tons of plot armor, a story where only the MC is capable of using his head, and cardboard side characters.

Shadow Runner di A. T. Valentine offre un’immersione affascinante in un futuro distopico pieno di pericoli sia umani che non. Il vero cuore della serie è la storia d'amore tra i due protagonisti, che evolve in modo naturale e coinvolgente proprio grazie alle avversità superate insieme. L'interpretazione di Stewart Crank è impeccabile e rende l'ascolto molto piacevole, tuttavia la narrazione manca di quel mordente necessario a tenerti incollato fino alla fine. Resta un po' di amaro in bocca per diverse sottotrame lasciate in sospeso, ma è comunque un ascolto godibile per chi ama le atmosfere cyberpunk.
